Thanks for reporting! There is a valve leak on the fire hydrant located on the corner. Due to the location of the hydrant on Hwy 29 (Sonoma Blvd), we must secure an encroachment permit before we can repair the leak. We hope to have this issue resolved in the next couple of weeks. UPDATE: Staff hope to have secured a Caltrans permit and perform the night work to complete this repair before the end of July. Thank you for your continued patience.

Final Update: Staff have received the required Caltrans permit in order to repair the leaking gate valve near this intersection. Crews will begin repairs at 9:00 p.m. tonight to minimize impact to vehicular traffic. The repair, including permanent asphalt repair, will be completed by 5:00 a.m. on July 13. Thank you again for your patience as we worked with Caltrans to coordinate this repair!
