Heavy congestion at certain times creates dangerous entry onto Gold Hill Rd from Deerfield Drive (particularly from 330-600pm. Several large businesses create heavy traffic flow at these times. This is the entrance to Charlotte Knights stadium as well, so during baseball season the situation is even worse. Serious accidents have occurred at the intersection; The most recent was yesterday (4-19-12) at approx 5pm. Requests for traffic light or other traffic flow control to Fort Mill Government and SCDOT have garnered no response. The general feeling is that someone will have to die before action is taken.
