I have also experienced this is other parts of East Rock. They also have a tendency to drive way too fast down one way streets. We have called to complain.
They do this everywhere and also block traffic where they park.this is a big problem thru out the Yale area it has to be address to who Is ever in charge of the buses
How long are you seeing these buses idle? I know that the dispatchers often tell buses to sit and wait in order to evenly space the vehicles on the route - usually about two to three minutes. Is it longer than five minutes that they're hanging around with the engine running?
It is longer than 5 minutes; sometimes closer to 7. And as soon as one finally moves on, 10-15 minutes later another has taken its place and is idling again.
