This is complete overkill. Why is why is Newport Court treated differently than a driveway with the triangles that we all have?

Newport is a one way street why the large triangle to the left when exiting Newport court. Won’t be turning left.

It allows more space for vehicles to enter and exit Newport Court, the exact issue you and your neighbors raised. Both of Police Chief and City Engineer made the suggestion and reviewed the options.

One, its not a driveway, its a narrow street. Two your and your neighbors complaints related to not being able to get in and out of the street. Typical street corners, under today's NJDOT standards do not allow parking within 25 feet of the intersection. Both PD and City Engineer agreed that 20 feet was sufficient at this location, due to the one way traffic and the size of both Newport and Newport Court.
