You're absolutely right OFD. We should pay our taxes and expect nothing in return. We should also stop expecting road repairs and clean drinking water, right?

If you want, you pay. Simple as that. The people of Hamden have said over and over they do not want to pay more taxes. The tax base we have will only go so far. If you can get the cheep people of Hamden to pay more to keep the schools open and roads fixed and the town workers positions filled than good luck to you. But dont @#$% because YOU are not getting what you want all the time. Non of us are!

It would be best to re-report it to the town via "submit a service request" from the town's website.

Or calling one or all of the town's offices for help (write down the names of the people you talk to, that seems to help push along any complains plus you can tell everyone exactly who talked to you and what they said. The phone numbers can be located at:

Hopefully the town will fix this problem before a child breaks a bone and the family sues the town for negligence.
