The Engineering Department inspected the site on 7/5/2022. Based on our inspection of the condition of the sidewalk, this site has been elevated to our CLAIMS list to ensure it gets needed visibility. We have determined that the sidewalk and driveway apron needs to be replaced and/or repaired (wherever possible to reduce the overall cost). The height of the tree lift omits grinding as a possibility. [It is interesting that the only tree lifts of this magnitude that I have inspected are always out of Hamden's required specifications.] Based on current funding, we do not have a good estimate on when the replacement will be conducted, nevertheless, this area must be corrected.
