A couple of suggestions based on my own experience. Check with Public Works to see if your street is maintained by the City. A surprising number are not mostly because whoever originally built it didn't go through proper channels or meet the City standards at the time. If it is maintained by the City the have a process so you can get on the maintenance/repaving list. Good luck!
