Pedestrians crossing from the north side of Lakeshore are required to yield to oncoming traffic turning right onto Parkside Dr. Yield onus should be on vehicles. All other segments of the crossing are protected by pedestrian signals.

Cars WB on Lakeshore come with speed around the corner and don't often enter the turning lane until just before the turn onto Parkside Dr.

Turning lane on Lakeshore is long enough to reverse the yield configuration without disrupting WB flow and give pedestrians the right of way enabling them to safely cross.
