  • M2 Macquarie Park, New South Wales - Ryde
Debris building between Delhi and Beecroft Rds since January 14. Danger to cyclists. Excess amounts of small rubbish, screws, bolts, blue metal, and extras like pillows, eskie lids, construction helmets, and dead cockatoos littering the shoulder. Risk to tyre penetration and restricts safe space within riding corridor.
  • 149 Samantha Riley Drive Kellyville NSW 2155, Australia - Baulkham Hills - North
Gravel banks form on the shoulder in the gully every time it rains heavily. The shoudler is narrow and being at the bottom of a down hill speed may be high. The risk of an accident / incident is medium because bicycle tracffic is common, SRD being a direct link between Old Northern Road and Old Windsor Road. Consequences could be extreme due to the risk of a biccycle / vehicle collision. Action requested is maintenance of the shoulder to remove gravel banks on either side of the road after heavey rain. I requested this throgh the RTA site many month ago with no action resulting that I am aware of.
  • Cumberland Highway West Pennant Hills NSW 2125, Australia - Baulkham Hills - South
Broken bottle on SUP as it exits the M2 shoulder eastbound to Pennant Hills Road. Caused one cut and unusable bicycle tyre. Likelihood of incident accident probably. Severity Consequence very lot to low becasue in low speed area and separate from traffic. Action requested: remove rubbish. Cost low.
  • 634-660 Cumberland Highway West Pennant Hills NSW 2125, Australia - Hornsby - South
Overhanging vegetation narrows the footpath at several locations along the footpath between M2 and Castle Hill Road. Liklihood of incident / accident: possible. Severity consequence - low -unless cyclists falls onto Pennant Hills Road. Action requrested: maintenance of vegetation on a regular basis. Whoever removed the round seeds from the footprath near Eaton Farm Road - thankyou. Cost low.
  • Lot 464 Samantha Riley Drive Kellyville NSW 2155, Australia - Baulkham Hills - North
Gravel bank fully across shoulder, since i reported it 6 months ago, could result in fall at speed. Please maintain this and other locations along SRD. Sorry night time pic.
  • 660 Pennant Hills Road West Pennant Hills, New South Wales - Hornsby - South
Pit cover on foothpath at pedestrian / cycle crossing is raised about 25 mm on one edge and the concrete infill damaged. Incident / accident likely due to moderate pedestrian / cycle traffic at crossing. Severity of consequences low to moderate (grazes and bruises) due to low speed and stopped traffic. Action requrested - repair and seat cover.
  • Sydney Harbour Bridge Milsons Point NSW 2061, Australia - North Sydney
    Harbour Bridge steps
  • 332 West Street Naremburn NSW 2065, Australia - Willoughby
This speed bump is far too high and dangerous for bicycles and clearly intended for motor vehicles. It should be removed.
  • Burns Bay Road Huntleys Point, New South Wales - Hunters Hill
We all know the problems of cycle access to the north end of the Gladesville Bridge.
This wonderful Sydney icon turns 50 this year. Why don't we give it a birthday present by making it easy and safe for cyclists to get on and off at the northern end?
A little bit of work on the slip lane from Burns Bay Rd to Victoria Road and the job is done.
Come on RMS - it's the 21st century already!
  • M2 North Rocks, New South Wales - Baulkham Hills - South
Semitrailer crossed onto M2 shoulder by about 0.5m at speed while passing cyclist. I usually ride to the RHS of the shoulder due to debris. Likelihood of incident / accident possible. Severity Consequence: very high due to cycle / semitraliler collision at speed.(ie death). Action requested: add ripple strips to lane marker. Cost moderate.
  • 414 Mona Vale Road St Ives NSW 2075, Australia - Ku-ring-gai
New road surfacing excluded the breakdown lane regularly used by cyclists leaving an uneven surface (join of old and new) and debris buildup on the old surface.
  • 184 Bobbin Head Road Turramurra, New South Wales - Wahroonga
Redesign of the Bobbin Head/Burns Rds intersection to provide right-turn bay into Burns Rd eastbound has resulted in removal of southbound cycle shoulder on uphill from Burns Rd to and beyond Spurwood Rd. Cyclists are squeezed, intimidated and endangered by impatient drivers in narrow lane. Request narrowing of lanes on western side of Bobbin Head Rd approaching Burns Rd traffic lights and reinstatement of cycling shoulder.
