    Hello. I recently moved into the apartments above Knapp’s restaurant and during the recent heat I have realized there is a city cigarette receptacle chained to a bench right below my bedroom window and within 25 of doors and windows. How do I request this to be moved because it has created a smoking area?

    I did a previous 311 request since the bricks are so slippery when wet and has caused people to slip and fall. That request was closed after the city inspected that area and found it was in violation and a notice would be sent to the property owner. It is my understanding that this property is owned and maintaind by the city. Why has this area not been cleaned and pressurewashed to make it safer and less of a biohazard.

    Hello,

    I attended a concert at the Tacoma Dome over the weekend. I am disabled and in a wheelchair. My sister dropped me off on D Street at the clock tower and then left as she wasn't coming with me. After the concert, one of the employees brought me outside to wait for her to pick me up. I ended up waiting in the cold for over an han because it ended up D Street was closed. My sister had to park past Wiley, walk down the hill, and proceed to push me up that big hill to the car because the officer wouldn't let her drive down to pick meme . There were several other people with the same issue.

    How are ADA people supposed to get up that hill by themselves? Why is D Street closed to through traffic? I understand that thextraffic situation would be a nightmare, but there has to be a e way to manage this where disabled people aren't stranded near the ADA entrance of Tacoma Dome with no way to get to their rides.statiohoughupoffichoursmokewananstartedrumlestackeagendSomDon

    I heard the city attorney (another white man, like the last one) hired a new chief deputy Is it true they've been close friends for 30 years? Is it also true that the city attorney hired the only white man who interviewed with an all male panel? Was the panel all white too? Is that how the city wants to do its hiring? I assume the city looks for hiring diverse and qualified candidates There was no such candidate that interviewed? I find that hard to believe The city can and should do better

    Someone has illegally barricaded a city alley at the corner of 71st St Ct and Golden Given Rd. This is a problem when calling for emergency services (such as police, fire, and ambulance). This illegal street blockage has been in place for 11 days now (since June 26th). I am asking for the removal of the barricades immediately and for the persons responsible for the barricade to be fined for purposefully blocking access to a public road.
